meet kade. it took kade sixteen years to finally have control over his own life, but even now, that control is slowly slipping from his grasp. kade started a rebellion when he was thirteen. his parents were controlling bastards, needing to be in every little aspect of his life. kade wanted to spite them. kade bought himself a guitar and declared that he had no intentions of trying in school, he was going to be a musician. his parents hated that one. he took up drinking next, but it wasn't something he exactly enjoyed. drunk people annoyed him. eventually, kade branched out to drugs. after his first high, he was hooked. the rush was electric, something he never wanted to give up, but he never meant to end up like this. three years later, he's still hooked and that was not the plan. kade is a decently friendly guy. he goes to college, works at a coffee shop and tries his hand at the open mic night they host there every friday. he's a chill guy and will be the last one to give a shit about something that you do that doesn't concern him. he's all "look at all the fucks i give." he has no interest in being up in your life because he knows how much it sucks to have people intrude. frankly, it's just really hard to piss kade of because he doesn't let much bother him. kade isn't exactly into the relationship scene. he's not looking for something, but he won't resist if something happens to pop up. he's perfectly okay with being single because he doesn't need to drag people through his shit. the last thing he wants is to bring someone down with him.

meet wes. he learned how to survive on his own as a teenager, his parents dying when he was seventeen, forcing him to grow up and raise his little brother by himself. wes is a good kid with the best intentions. he rarely looks out for what he needs, pouring most of his energy into college, his little brother, khane, and skating. the one thing that wes does for himself is skate. it's his life and something he does well. he goes to skate ehxibitions all over the country, sometimes the world, trying to earn money to keep him and khane going. they don't exactly need the money, the leiholts were a rich family, but wes like to povide for them himself. when he's gone he depends on annah, his trusty babysitter, to watch khane. overall, wes is a nice guy. he's genuine and has a great outlook on life. he's a charmer. spitting out pretty line to every cute girl he sees. some might call him a player, but wes doesn't fuck. truth be told, he's only had sex with one person. he needs friends. guy friends to chill with and skate with and he really needs a girl best friend. someone to vent his emotional crap to. wes just needs people to hold him up, to keep him going, because even though he thinks life is great, sometimes it wears down on him.

meet kes. he's run this town since he was twenty years old and he doesn't plan on stopping any time soon. this twenty eight year old vicoden addict is the town's drug dealer and resident gay man. really, there's no one gayer than kes and he'll be the first to admit it. that doesn't mean underestimate him, though. he'll also be the first to whip out a blade and have it pressed against your jugular should you piss him the fuck off. kes has a raging temper and doesn't really care what happens when he's angry. he's the son of a music legend and a hardcore investor. kes will never have to worry about being without. he's easily and by far the richest person in town. kes throws his money around like it's nothing and has a hard time making friends the normal way, so he tends to buy people things so they'll like him. he'll have enemies. he's highly defensive of his friends, of the people he 'loves' and he's quick to hate and hard to calm down. kes is also a bit afraid of sex and anything sexual. he hates to hear it even talked about and will get pissed if you do. rape jokes are exceptionally not funny. kes is gay and will maybe hit on a few guys, but it will never turn sexual. oh, and don't tell anyone, but he has a super secret crush on his best friend.. and it's a girl.

so, they met at a club. hooked up. sienna ditched right after and had no plans of ever seeing him again, 'cause that's just how she is. thing is, she's a caffeine addict, and she sings.. so go figure she showed up for open mic night the next week 'cause a friend told her to check it out. and guess who she saw there? yup, y'know. 'kay so.. talking, prolly another hookup, and before you know it it's a regular thing, yeah? sienna doesn't really understand why she sticks around with him but nobody else, but it's just how it is. and hey, he is rather attractive. (; so yeah, that's that. eventually she'll probably bring it up and be like "yeah.. i'm still gonna sleep around and shit, but as long as i'm back to you at the end of the night it's no big deal, right?" or some shit like that. yeeeee'. epicness. they're gonna be awesomer than awesome. the end.

kade has no qualms about having relationships, he just doesn't have them. he'd be down to fuck her and when she walked out on him, he wouldn't really care. he wouldn't chase her and the fact that she showed up at open mic night wouldn't really phase him. he'd talk to her to be nice, but expect nothing out of it. fucking again would be an added bonus. he'd keep her around, forge the awkward friends with benefits thing with her, no problem. he might get attached, but have no needs to put a label on anything. at all. he'd be like, "okay, you're mine.. fuck who you want, but you sleep in my bed." and they could just go from there? maybe official, who knows.

they seem pretty a like besides the family part. selena has always acted out, and did bad things and overall I think that they could be pretty good friends? If your cool with it they could be fuck buddies for now until he gets with his final.
