okay, so i have an idea for a plot. basically darren here is in love with girl, but she has a boyfriend. darren's liked her for a while, but he understands that they're happy together, and in the end he just wants her to be happy. okay, so one day girl and her boyfriend are driving home from somewhere, and darren is driving home too, drunk. he crashes into them, kills the guy, girl loses her memory. the doctor's advise that girl will not be able to handle her memories and tell her mother to move her somewhere she won't be reminded of her past. darren's from an affluent family, so he's able to get away with the hit and run, but he feels responsible for girl. he eventually convinces girl's mom to let them move to buffalo.
okay, basically that's where the plot starts. darren feels incredibly guilty and kind of stays away from girl however she somehow manages to fall in love with him, much to his dismay.
