Natalie shuffled into the condo holding a box full of clothes, a teddy bear perched on top. She would have skipped in if she could, she was just too happy. In the past she'd wondered once or twice what it would be like to move in with her boyfriend, but hadn't let herself linger more than a second on the idea. It wasn't going to happen. But then Parker offered, making another one of her wishes come true, like he always did. Nat dropped the box in the living room, turning around and smiling her easy smile at him. "We're living together!" She exclaimed happily, clapping her hands together. A lot of people would be apprehensive, scared that taking this step in a relationship might not be a good idea. But Nat wasn't scared at all. She just saw it as starting a new adventure with her very best friend.
She picked up her teddy bear and plopped down on the couch, placing the toy on her lap. Brown eyes looked around the condo for a minute, taking it in a new light, "Home," she said, mainly to herself, a smile sliding across her face. Natalie put the bear aside before standing up, "It's so sad that we just packed everything at my house, and now we have to unpack it here." Natalie was hoping there was some magic trick, some words you could utter so everything ended up where it was supposed to be, she was already exhausted.

Parker had the harder part of the job, carrying two boxes that blocked his vision. He’d had a key made earlier that day for Natalie, so he let her lead the way from his car. Placing the boxes down once they were in the condo, Parker smiled widely as he watched Natalie with her teddy bear. She kind of reminded him of a little kid sometimes, but in a grown up kind of way. She was adorable. His smile only widened as Natalie clapped, nodding his head. Faun had been skeptical of them moving in together because of the huge step, but Parker was really excited. There wasn’t anyone else he’d want to wake up to and fall asleep next to every day. Besides, it wasn’t like he was proposing to her or anything. Sure, moving in brought that step closer, but he was alright with that. Everything would happen whenever it happened, and his baby sister’s worrying wasn’t going to keep him from living with the girl he loved.
Smiling at the sound of her calling the place home, he felt butterflies flutter in his stomach. “Our home.” Those simple words felt so amazing rolling off his tongue. Wrinkling his nose, he looked at the boxes. “How about we unpack tomorrow. I’m beat,” he said, going over and dropping down onto the couch, his arms draped over the back of the couch. Parker was king of procrastination. It had taken him months to finally get all of his boxes unpacked at the condo when he’d first moved in. Actually, he was pretty sure he still had a couple small ones packed in his closet. Oh well.

Natalie had slipped the key around a chain she'd found in her room, which now hung from her neck. It was a trick her older sister had taught her when she was younger and was constantly locked out of the house. Now that she was older, it worked as a fashion statement too--people thought she did it for individuality, not because she would honestly lose the key otherwise. Nat kicked off her cowboy boots and moved them onto the couch, before nuzzling into Parker's shoulder. "Our's," she repeated, tasting the words before nodding, "I love that idea." Nat was a bit of a procrastinator herself, she did have random bursts of energy, but usually she lazed around doing random things. Despite this, Natalie liked to stay in habit, and she was meticulously neat. Natalie was the girl in high school, who's notebook the teacher would grab to show to the other students. "This, see this? This is what note taking is supposed to look like. Not your chicken scratch, Christopher."
"Hey, Parker?" Nat stayed where she was, buried in his shoulder, her voice a little muffled. She breathed his familiar and comforting smell before looking up, now just rest her cheek against him. "Does your sister...Faun, she doesn't like me, does she?" That's one thing about Natalie, she lived to please anyone, and if she couldn't she took it rather personally.

Parker kept all his keys on a keychain that he always had attached to his belt loop of whatever pants or shorts he wore. He refused to leave the condo without his keys, even if he was just skating down the block. It was in the good part of town, so there really wasn't a major need to lock the doors when he left for fifteen minutes or so, but he was always extra safe with stuff. And he'd be even more safe now that Natalie was going to be there. He hugged her close, resting his head on top of hers and closing his eyes. He felt as if he could say like that forever; just curled up with Nat on the couch without a worry in the world.
"Hm?" Blinking, Parker pulled his head back and looked down at her at the question that followed. "She likes you. Faun just worries about me, she doesn't want me rushing into stuff and getting hurt.. She's protective." Parker lifted a hand to her chin so she'd look at him. "Hey. She likes you, and I love you. There's nothing to worry about, okay?" He smiled reassuringly, gently kissing the tip of her nose with a smile.
