• • • • • • •Welcome to Baltimore, Maryland,
home of the Orioles and the Ravens. It's well known
for many things, but one of the things it has to be
most known for its citizens. No, not all of them
are people you'd want to know, but many of them
are. Many of them have taken it upon themselves
to help others, in one of two organizations. The first
would be St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. The second
would be the most well known non-profit in town,
St. Germaine's Village For Rescued Children.
St. Joseph's has the most state of the art facilities
around. They have gone through a recent change
of administration, as the head has just retired,
along with some of his staff. The service still seems
to be great though. If you have any sort of medical
need, St. Joseph's is the place to go. They're known
for their great staff and a willingness to be open to
medical breakthroughs and new procedures.
Then there is St. Germaine's, named for the patron
saint of victims of child abuse. This place takes in all
victim's of child abuse, gives them a home, and helps
them deal with the trauma they've been through and
move onto the future. The children and teenagers that
end up here have been through a variety of traumatic
experiences, but the loving staff is there to help guide
them through the complicated emotions at such critical
times in their lives.
So come join us in Baltimore, because if there's anything
these two places have taught us, it's that
Hope Springs Eternal.
